This 6-Day Uganda Gorilla and Chimpanzee Trekking Safari in one smooth journey across western Uganda. It takes you through three key destinations Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest each offering a different and meaningful experience.
The journey starts in Kibale, where you walk through the forest in search of chimpanzees. It then moves to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where open savannah landscapes bring game drives and a boat safari to life. Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet your professional safari guide for a briefing before departing for Kibale National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive through tea plantations, rolling hills, and picturesque villages before arriving at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering Kibale Forest with experienced rangers in search of wild chimpanzees.
Spend an unforgettable hour observing these intelligent primates as they feed, groom, and interact in their natural habitat. During the trek, you may also encounter other monkey species and a variety of birds.
Return to the lodge for lunch and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.

After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Begin your guided trek through the dense rainforest in search of one of Bwindi's habituated mountain gorilla families.
The trek may take several hours depending on the gorillas' location. Once found, enjoy a magical one-hour encounter observing these gentle giants in their natural environment before returning to your lodge.
