Upon arrival in Kigali, meet your professional safari guide for a short briefing before departing for Volcanoes National Park. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful countryside, often referred to as the "Land of a Thousand Hills."
Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy an optional Kigali city tour or visit a local cultural village before checking into your lodge. Relax and prepare for the unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure ahead.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by park rangers. You will then begin your guided trek through the lush rainforest in search of one of the habituated mountain gorilla families.
The trek may take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorillas' location. Once you find them, you'll spend one unforgettable hour observing their behavior, taking photographs, and appreciating these gentle giants in their natural environment.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing. An optional visit to the nearby cultural village can be arranged.

After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic drive back to Kigali. If time permits, enjoy some souvenir shopping or a short city tour before your transfer to Kigali International Airport or your hotel, bringing your remarkable Rwanda adventure to a close.
