This 5-day safari takes you through some of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations, starting in the wildlife-rich Ndutu region, moving into the central Serengeti with its year-round game viewing, and ending in the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. You will experience the wide-open plains, predator action, diverse wildlife habitats, and world-class scenery, making this journey an unforgettable African adventure.
Begin your safari in the Ndutu region, part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Known for its open plains, acacia woodlands, and seasonal lakes, Ndutu offers incredible wildlife sightings. You will spend the day on game drives spotting giraffes, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. As the sun sets, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Spend another full day exploring Ndutu, venturing deeper into its plains and marshes in search of wildlife. This area is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with hundreds of species to spot. Enjoy the peaceful, uncrowded game drives and take your time observing animal behaviours unique to this region before heading back to your accommodation for the evening.

After breakfast, drive to the central Serengeti, famous for its year-round wildlife and stunning savannah landscapes. You’ll explore the Seronera Valley, a hotspot for predators such as leopards and lions, as well as elephants, giraffes, and buffalo. Enjoy game drives throughout the day before relaxing at your camp

Continue your adventure in the Serengeti, exploring different areas to find more wildlife. Visit the rocky kopjes, where lions often rest, and watch for cheetahs hunting across the plains. The central Serengeti offers excellent photography opportunities and spectacular sunset views before returning to camp for your final night in this iconic park.

On your final day, travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater floor for a game drive where you can spot the Big Five, hippos, flamingos, and an incredible variety of wildlife in one of the world’s most unique natural settings. In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari.
