After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Begin your guided trek through the dense rainforest in search of one of Bwindi's habituated mountain gorilla families.
The trek may take several hours depending on the gorillas' location. Once found, enjoy a magical one-hour encounter observing these gentle giants in their natural environment before returning to your lodge.
